Spirit airlines is closed unfortunately.

Every time  an airline shuts down, it creates an inconvenience to travellers.  I have never travelled on Spirit Airlines; however, based on what I have heard from fellow travellers who have travelled and are knowledgeable about Spirit Airlines, it is sad.  The advantages of travelling on Spirit Airlines are their low ticket prices and their competitive service, which they have offered for 34 years in business.  People who are mostly affected by this closure are; The workers. College and University Students, since the ticket prices were very affordable, fit their budgets. Foreign Nationals that lives and work in the United States. The frequent travellers that needs some good deals. How does it affect the Foreign nationals who are residents in the United States? Those residents frequently travel back home, especially Caribbean Nationals, to visit their friends and family. From what I have heard, Spirit Airlines has one of the cheapest one-way flights. How about ...

Personal Travelling Tips

My Personal Travel Tips         I have quite a bit of travelling experience throughout my life, and I was able to learn and use some tips that helped me through it to this day. Some people may think that travel is just fun, while the experience may be worthwhile; however, travelling requires preparation and patience. Here are some helpful tips;                                                   Before the travel Compare ticket prices Before you decide to buy your travel tickets from a travel agency, compare the prices among the agencies, both online and in person, and keep a written record, but most important of all, compare those prices to the airline's personal website. A day spent at Jardin de Balata in Martinique

Image
I would like to start by saying, "It was a day well spent."                                                  Welcome to Jardin de Balata!                                                                                                                                                                                                 ...

HELL! in Cayman Island

Image
Yes, there is an actual place that is called 'Hell.' And that place is located in no other than the Great Grand Caymans in the district of West Bay. At first, when I heard about it, I could not believe it, so I decided to visit there myself. Upon arrival, I could not believe my own eyes. The land structure is weird; I do not know how to describe it with words, but here goes. The land seems rocky but dry, dark grey with holes within the rocks, yet there are small pools of water, like a swamp, but there is no mud; that is why it is called 'HELL'. Weird, I tell you. On a personal note to me, the rocks look like they were burned, kind of like the phrase," burning in hell." How to get to 'HELL' in the Caymans?  The island is not that big, I think it is around 100 square miles for all three islands. The Grand Cayman occupies 76 square miles. That is where 'HELL' is located. The island is flat and easy to move around on.  We walk...

The most hostoric beach to visit in St.Lucia

Image
Grand Anse Beach! Below are photos of Grand Anse.    Yes, I know that you have read that the beach is filled with rubbish and sargassum, but there is so much more to the location. Grand Anse is not just a beach; it has some profound historical landmarks. These photos are not nearly enough to fully experience the beauty of the landmark on the Grand Anse Beach. Furthermore, to your left-hand side upon entering the beach, there is a hilltop that you will be able to access. From the hilltop, there is a magnificent view, which I was unable to capture in a photo to prove that statement. Sadly, the beach is overtaken by sargassum, which makes it unappealing to go for a swim. In addition, local habitants visits the beach quite of...

Carnival in Martinique

Image
The video below is a Carnival parade in Martinique. The month of January is the start of Carnival in Martinique, and it ends in February with the final and main event. During that time leading up to the main event, each community has its own carnival parade, and it is quite a festive event. The name theme song is always the 'Tamboo,' and people dress up in costumes to display their art, reflecting on their history and culture. The French Antilles Carnival is a bit different from those of the English-speaking Caribbean Islands. In 2026, the dates for the main events of Carnival are from February 15th to 18th. There are four important days: Dimanche gras, lundi gras, Mardi gras, and Mercredi des cendres. Dimanche Gras begins with parades, often featuring costumes in red. Lundi Gras is a day of making fun of weddings, and men dress up in bridal attire to create a humorous atmosphere. Mardi Gras;  the parades are in black and red, but depending on the town, it may be blue and red...
